I also wish it was not a plastic body but it does seem sturdy. This phone is great. This phone looks great on the wall, I actually remember pay phones. Fast delivery as usual with Amazon. I just rec. and used last night, sound is good,and fun to dial.

Nice look. I Just received my RED pay phone and it looks great, Delivery was fast though I had to pay extra for clearing customs, I'm a little disapointed that it's made of plastic and hope it dosen't break easy. All in All.
This is not a big issue though - my kids think the phone is great and show it off to new guests who arrive at our house. We really enjoy the phone. It should have some ringing tone that sounds like phones from the 1950's.Overall, though, we really like it. (2) The ring tone is all wrong for this type of phone. It is quite a discussion piece and the quality is very good. Two minor complaints: (1) The phone is plastic and "purists" will remember the originals were steel.
But I really like it and have gotten many compliments on it. Like everyone else wish it were a little heavier, also wish that you had to put money in to make a call LOL.
